Light Interacts with Food

This new light reflects on the interaction between light, food and conviviality. "It is not the object but the light itself that welcomes food, to enhance it in the interaction that is created", says Oldani.

 

The main body is an opal white glass that diffuses the light to create a soft atmosphere, the upper part of Bontà is a glass bowl where the food can be accommodated.

“Making things simple is my philosophy in presenting the table. Bontà is not a decorative element, it reveals its multiple functions in use: it creates an atmosphere, supports and enhances food, it is open to welcome different shapes of containers '.

A taller bowl and a larger one, almost a plate, can be combined or alternated at the lamp’s top. These items and the lamp itself are made of hand-made glass, unique pieces whose material quality, transparency and colour generate a special interaction, a mix of light and food.

Attention to detail in this project is of the essence in order to give the appropriate preciousness to the object and to what it relates with.
